Captain Of My Soul?

Posted on Captain Of My Soul?

This is a wonderful sermon, so effectively communicated on many levels. I have been looking for a church for 7 years. I may just have to drive 57.8 miles on Sundays - seriously!

How God Communicates With Us - General And Special Revelation

Posted on How God Communicates With Us - General And Special Revelation

The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After He had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. Hebrew 1:3 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it. John 1: 4- 5. Bold, highlight, underline these verses in my spirit, draw my attention to Your truth so that I may have the heart and the mind of Christ. 1 Kings 19: 11 - Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire a gentle whisper. When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave. Then a voice said to him, "What are you doing here, Elijah?" Selah.

The Attributes of God - Transcendent and Immanent

Posted on The Attributes of God - Transcendent and Immanent

One thing I have held on to for years, "If God were small enough for me to understand, then He wouldn't be big enough to be God." Now for years to come, "Transcendence pertains to the degree which God SURPASSES our finite human ability to perceive and describe." Yup, God is God and I am not...even close!!! ......and how does a language bound to this world adequately talk about God?? (eyes big and looking bewildered anyone or is it just me?)

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is this for?

In short, everyone - all are welcome!

If you ask us who may enjoy this campus the most, might we suggest those who..

  • go to a physical church, but want to connect mid-week online
  • just love communicating online
  • travel frequently (military, contractors)
  • work shift (servers, nurses)
  • have health issues
  • have no Christ-centered church in physical area
  • busy schedules
  • dependents and those without transportation

How can I get involved?

We've just started, but we're looking to grow the ways in which YOU can connect with other members of Grace online.

Today, you can volunteer to lead or participate in an online group by filling out the form on this page.

You can also post prayer requests on the prayer wall and pray for others.

Last, you can discuss and/or post your notes from each week's sermon so that others can be encouraged by what you've thought about.

Why an online campus?

For a large number of people, church online is the only viable option. For others it's the preferred option. For others, it's the best option for mid-week gatherings.

We want to do our best to reach people where they're at, following Christ's example.

Is there a difference between watching a tv evangelist/youtuber and having an online campus?

We think so.

Church is done together and as Christians we all play a role in the Body of Christ. Church is also about the people rather than the building.

As a result, we want to enable all of our Grace Community Church people to interact with each other, wherever they are in the world and whatever circumstance they find themselves in.
