Welcome to Bridge!
4th - 5th grade ministry @ all services
Bridge exists to develop disciples of Jesus and a sense of community-driven by the truth of the gospel and the power of Scripture. The way we do that is by consistently teaching the gospel and creating a fun environment in which students are known and loved by leaders who are committed to their walk with Christ.
In Bridge, we have what we call "pillars," and they represent who we are as a group. Everything that we do in Bridge always ties into these pillars.
PILLAR #1
Gospel
Our goal in Bridge is for every student to know, and be able to articulate the simple truth of the Gospel:
The simple truth of the Gospel is that Jesus Christ came to save sinners like you and me by dying on the cross, taking the penalty of sin upon Himself, and was raised from the dead that we may have new life in Him and have a relationship with God forever!
PILLAR #2
Scripture
In Bridge, everything that we teach is founded in Scripture. We memorize a verse each month together and encourage students to ask tough questions that they have about the Bible that we respond to weekly. We also recognize that all Scripture points us to Jesus the Christ.
PILLAR #3
Community
Bridge is a place in which students can find friends to have fun with! Our goal is for the students to be united in their journey of learning and growing in their relationship with God! We have a blast utilizing games, activities, etc., to foster this sense of community.
Pillar #4
Disciple
Jesus said to go and make disciples, not church attenders. In Bridge, our goal is to develop Christian character by taking the example and principles Jesus gave us in Scripture and applying them to our present day lives.
