Outreach Mission: The mission of Outreach is to reach the unchurched by meeting the practical needs of our neighbors.
Position Summary: The Outreach Coordinator is responsible for directly overseeing all coordination and administrative efforts for the department.

- Administrative experiences, preferably in a church or nonprofit setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite (word, excel, outlook, Powerpoint)
- Entry-level experience with Notion (or a willingness to learn)
- Proficiency (or willingness to learn) planning center software (registrations, people, calendar, etc.)
- Strong project management and event planning skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
- Willingness to take on anything assigned by the Outreach Pastor.
Responsibilities: May include...
- General Duties:
- Oversee administrative elements of the outreach department of Grace Community Church.
- Attend and provide insight to Outreach staff meetings.
- Provide organizational support during disaster relief seasons.
- Occasionally assist in missions efforts when opportunities arise
- Administrative Support:
- Manage event registrations and track Volunteer engagement monthly.
- Oversee budgets and expense reports, providing monthly reports to the Outreach Pastor.
- Handle vendor communications and manage contracts for outreach-related events and initiatives.
- Maintain organized records of Outreach activities, partnerships, and financial transactions.
- Event Coordination & Logistics:
- Lead the planning and execution of major outreach events, including:
- Christmas on Main
- Music on Main
- Waterside Movie Nights
- Mission trips
- Community Serve Days
- Coordinate event logistics, including securing venues, managing volunteer assignments, and ensuring necessary supplies are available.
- Collaborate with the creative department to promote outreach initiatives both internal and external.
- Partner & Volunteer Relations:
- Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with local and global partners, ensuring regular communication and support.
- Oversee communication with volunteers, includin scheduling training, and follow up.
- Supervise the community partner facilitator and ensure alignment with outreach goals.
- Communication & Reporting:
- Prepare and distribute regular updates on outreach activities to the outreach pastor.
- Track and report monthly metrics on volunteer engagement and financial expenditures.
- Assist the Outreach Pastor in ensuring all outreach-related communication aligns with Grace's mission and values.
- Work Environment Expectations:
- Night and weekend availability is required for major outreach events.
- Participation in Grace Community Church life and commitment to its mission and values is expected.
- Regular collaboration with other church departments, volunteers, and external partners.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site support at Outreach Events when needed.
- Supervises the Community partner facilitator.
- Manages communication with local and global partners under the oversight of the outreach pastor.
- Authority to approve expenditures within pre-approved budget limits.
- Responsible for organizing and leading all logistics for designated outreach events.
