Emmaus
Beginning this fall, Grace will be offering a brand new study program called Emmaus Institute in partnership with Knox Theological Seminary. The program offers graduate level courses for credit toward a graduate degree or you can audit classes! This program is designed to develop students of the bible into teachers and leaders in order to further equip others within their community. The Emmaus Institute at Grace Community Church seeks to accomplish this vision through academic classes, apprenticeship and hands-on application in outreach and mentorship. Students will grow as leaders equipped to share the love of Jesus with theological depth and practical breadth while acquiring vocational ministry experience within a local, thriving church.
Emmaus aligns with Pastor Chip’s heart for reaching the next generation while playing a role in reviving the state of the global church. Emmaus exists not only to equip the next generation to effectively communicate the gospel of Jesus to the unchurched, but to serve as a catalyst for what Pastor Chip identifies as a necessary shift to the state of the Western, evangelical church. Your generosity makes this institute for kingdom impact possible. Your giving of time and resources allows Emmaus at Grace to equip leaders to impact those outside of the church and integrate theological training with practical ministry application. Because of you, seasoned church leaders are equipped and enabled to lead the next generation through real work experience in a thriving local church.
If you or someone you know has a heart to grow in the wisdom, knowledge, and joy of the gospel of Christ, we encourage you to email Emmaus@GraceSarasota.com to begin the registration process for a life-changing season where community meets theology. New classes are happening every semester so we challenge you to take advantage of this resource and invest a portion of your week to grow deeper in the living Word.
